Many Paid Survey sites have outdated databases with bad links, exaggerated income claims, and they invade your privacy.
Out of many paid survey companies I’ve reviewed, I have only found a few survey sites that I can recommend.
How Paid Surveys work
You join a membership site and get links to many online surveys. You sign up for many of the surveys. You’ll receive some surveys almost immediately. Others willl take longer. You’ll answer the survey questions. You can speed up the process with free auto-filling software.
When you send in your completed survey, you’ll receive a check or Paypal payment or some other price.
Some Paid Survey programs will include bonuses such as Mystery Shopping, Get Paid to Drive, and Reading Emails.
Why survey sites have a bad reputation
1. The income possibilities are often overstated. Surveys are an easy way to make extra money but they won’t give you a full-time income.
You can realistically make $100 a week but don’t expect to make $1000 a month.
The real money is in the focus groups. I am participating occasionally in focus groups myself and have made $100 for a couple of hours of work answering questions in focus groups.
2. You have to be careful which survey site you join. There are a lot of disorganized survey sites with outdated links and bad customer service.
I recommend joining an established site from an established company. I can only recommend a couple of paid survey programs mentioned here where you can really make money, give good support, are updated regularly, and provide a money back guarantee.

It provides details on the type of survey each survey site provides (e.g. focus, online, interview, etc.) and what type of payment they offer (cash or prizes) so you can select the sites you want.
